A neon crescent hangs over the door (a shout out to the Big Easy, the eternally endeared Crescent City) and reminds those coming and going that if we can’t be in New Orleans, we can still enjoy life as it comes while sipping on the finest of (frozen) daiquiris and enjoying the grand view from the front porch. The Holler is just what the neighborhood needed: a hub for the misfits and transplants of all ages, a place where history and culture brighten up the room in the most welcoming way possible. The Overlooking booths along Franklin Avenue mimic the ambience of Victorian porches one would find while wandering the side streets of New Orleans. Interiors built upon rich cherry wood and illuminated by stained glass Tiffany pendant lamps, the design pays homage to the deep South lust for luxe. These elements paired with alligator textured glitter wall coverings, always on jukebox and pinball machines and color controlled Phillips Hue LED lighting system to provide that Big Easy lively contrast.
